Q. Are you an authorized TAG Heuer distributor?
Yes, M.LaHart & Co. is an authorized e-retailer of TAG Heuer watches. Click here to be redirected to TAG Heuer's official e-retailer listing page. Our TAG Heuer watches are authentic and custom made by TAG Heuer. Our assortment of university-branded TAG Heuer watches is not available anywhere else. You can only order them from M.LaHart & Co.
Q. How long will it take me to receive my custom TAG Heuer or Movado watch?
Your University TAG Heuer watch will be custom made for you by TAG Heuer when you place your order. Please allow three weeks for delivery.
Q. Can I have my custom watch engraved?
Yes, M.LaHart & Co. is pleased offer free engraving on all watches. Due to the official TAG Heuer brand marks on casebacks, engraving location will vary by model. Please note that the case is cut from a solid block of steel and the caseback does not align with the dial.
Q. What is the warranty period for TAG Heuer watches?
TAG Heuer watches are covered by TAG Heuer's two-year international warranty, which you can review here.
Q. What is the warranty period for M.LaHart watches?
The warranty period for M.LaHart watches is three years from the date of purchase. If your watch requires service, please follow the instructions on your warranty. To review the warranty please click here.

Q. How do I adjust my M.LaHart watch bracelet to fit my wrist?
Our solid steel link watch bracelets are sized according to industry standards. We recommend you visit a knowledgeable local jeweler who can fit the watch to your wrist. If you have any questions, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-551-4715 or via email to info@mlahart.com.
Q. When should I replace my watch strap?
If you wear your watch everyday, we recommend replacing your strap annually to keep your watch looking its best. Replacement straps can be ordered by contacting Customer Service at 1-800-551-4715 or via email to info@mlahart.com.
Q. Does my watch have a battery?
Yes, our M.LaHart watches are battery powered. A battery typically lasts approximately two years. Please note that batteries are not covered under warranty. We recommend visiting a local reputable jeweler to replace the battery. Many fine watch brands use similar swiss movements.
Q. Is my watch water resistant?
Yes, all TAG Heuer, Movado and M.LaHart watches are water resistant. We do caution against wearing your watch during water sport activities, as the quick motion causes added pressure to the watch movement. Also, watches should not be submitted to fast changing temperature and/or humidity conditions (i.e. hot tub, shower, sauna).

Q. What can I engrave on my brass and marble lamp?
We can engrave two lines of text with up to 25 characters in each line. M.LaHart & Co. is pleased to offer free engraving on all brass and marble lamps. The engraveable brass plates are 3″ long and ½″ wide.
Q. Do you offer engraving for the brass lamp?
No, unfortunately there isn't room for the engraveable brass plate on this smaller lamp.
Q. What are the dimensions of the lamp shade?
The height of the lamp shade is 6.5″. The diameter of the shade is 8″ at the top, and 14″ at the bottom.

Custom Map Marble Coasters

Q. Where will the address appear on the coasters?
The location on the map of your address is just up and to the right of the center of the four coasters, (the center would be the inner corner of the four coasters). The exact address location will appear one inch to the East (to the right) and one inch North (up) from the center of the coaster set.
Q. Where do the tiles come from?
The tiles are imported from various points in the Mediterranean. The type of marble used is named after the Italian botticino which is a marble industry word for that particular color of marble.
Q. Why are there spots/cracks on my tiles?
The marble used for the coasters is a natural product, created over millions of years. It is not a manufactured resin or polymer composite. Therefore, the tiles will have natural discolorations, fissures and veins which all add to the beauty of the stone.
Q. Why are the edges of my tiles cracked/chipped?
The tiles go through a deliberate tumbling process to give the edges a rough-hewn antique look. The tiles are meant to have this ancient look to them.
Q. What type of maps are used for the Coasters and the Survey Map Print?
U.S. Geological survey maps are used for the coasters and the survey map print.
Q. Why isn't my street name on the map?
The subject street name may or may not be included in the U.S. Geological survey map, and consequently, may not always appear on the map coasters or print. Huge amounts of data are conveyed on to the coasters. In some areas, the street names simply won't fit or were not included when the topographical maps were done.

Yes. M.LaHart & Co. is an official licensee of every institution listed on our web site. Every purchase of an M.LaHart & Co. product supports your school through royalties paid directly to them. Q. Why is the price online different than in my printed catalog?
Prices of sterling silver, pewter and gold fluctuate greatly. All prices are current when the catalog is printed but are subject to change based on market fluctuations.
Q. I already have a TAG Heuer or Movado watch. Can I order just the dial with my school's logo?
Unfortunately, we are not authorized to sell individual TAG Heuer or Movado dials, and our university contracts require that we sell complete, finished products. Each TAG Heuer and Movado watch is custom-made by the TAG Heuer or Movado factory as a complete timepiece.
Q. I already own a Howard Miller clock. Can I order just a pendulum with my school's logo?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer pendulums for any Howard Miller clocks that were previously purchased from an outside source. All Howard Miller clocks purchased through M.LaHart & Co. will include the pendulum with your school's logo.
Q. I have a coupon code. How do I use it?
At checkout, there is a field to enter your coupon code. Enter the code and hit the “Apply” button. Please note that coupon codes are active for a limited period of time, and cannot be combined with any other offer.
Q. Do you offer special order items for corporate gifts, retirements, reunions, or departmental gifting?

Q. What styles of engraving are available?
M.LaHart is pleased to offer traditional block-style engraving on most of our products. Our Private Collection features 4 styles of engraving. Please check item specifications for availability and samples of each style. Q. Can I have a special message engraved?

Q. Does engraving lengthen delivery time?
No. We have our own team of engravers, and our standard order processing encompasses this service.
Q. Will I be charged tax on my M.LaHart & Co. order?
Only shipments mailed to Connecticut will incur 6.35% sales tax.

Gift Purchases

Q. I didn't order my custom watch in enough time for my event. Can I get a gift announcement card in the meantime?
Yes. As each TAG Heuer and Movado watch is custom-made, we suggest you allow 3 weeks for delivery after you place your order. But if there is a special date or holiday you are purchasing for, we'd be happy to email you a custom gift announcement card you may present your gift to your recipient. Q. Do you offer special order items for corporate gifts, retirements, reunions, or departmental gifting?

Q. Do you offer gift wrapping?
Gift wrapping is available for watches, pewter and sterling silver items; we are not able to offer gift wrapping for glassware and other items. Our custom gift wrapping includes an attractive silver paper with ribbon for an additional $5.95 per item. At this time, you cannot add gift wrapping during the online ordering process. Q. Can I include a gift message with my order?
Yes, you can add it to your order before checkout finalization.

Q. What methods of payment do you accept online?
We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express, and Discover card, as well as our own M.LaHart & Co. gift certificates. Customers can also place their online orders using Google Checkout and PayPal.
Q. How do I know that my online credit card purchase is secure?
M.LaHart & Co.’s state-of-the-art order system is PCI compliant. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is an information security standard for organizations that handle cardholder information for the major debit, credit, prepaid, e-purse, ATM, and POS cards. Defined by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, the standard was created to increase controls around cardholder data to reduce credit card fraud via its exposure. M.LaHart & Co. employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, ensuring that every step in the online ordering process is secure.
Q. When will my credit card be charged?
An authorization will be made when you place your order; your card will be charged when your order is shipped. If, for whatever reason, we need to send partial shipments, you will be billed for the shipping on the first item shipped, and then each item will be billed separately as they ship. There is no additional charge if we make multiple shipments.

Shipping Information

Q. How are the products packaged?
All watches, sterling silver, gold and pewter products arrive beautifully presented in our complimentary gift box. Glassware and certain other items are securely packed but without gift packaging. Please refer to item details on the website for more information.
Q. How long will it take to receive my order?
Most items shipped using the standard shipping method arrive within 8-10 business days via UPS or FedEx Ground. Glassware arrives within 2-3 weeks via UPS. The wall clock arrives within 2-3 weeks via UPS. The grandfather clock arrives within 3-4 weeks via a freight carrier. The leather chairs require an estimated 8 weeks for delivery. Please allow 4 weeks for Hitchcock chairs and Simon Pearce products.
TAG Heuer and Movado watches are custom-made and require 3 weeks for delivery. All TAG Heuer and Movado watches are shipped 2 Day Air and require a signature for delivery.
Q. What happens if my order is delayed?
You will be notified by a Customer Service representative by phone or email. Please be sure to check your spam filter in case a customer service message may not have reached you.
Q. Is express shipping available?
Express shipping is available for M.LaHart watches, sterling silver and pewter products, and arrives within 3-4 business days via UPS or FedEx. Express shipping is not available on TAG Heuer or Movado watches, glassware clocks, chairs, diploma frames, prints or, coasters. Please refer to our website for shipping details for your product.
Q. How will I know that my order has been shipped?
If you provide a valid email address at the time of order placement, a tracking number will be emailed to you at the time the shipment is processed. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking information to be updated on the carrier's website. Tracking numbers may be sent directly from FedEx and could go into a spam filter depending on your browser settings.
Q. Can I have my order shipped to multiple addresses?
We cannot ship one order to several addresses. If you need to ship items to separate addresses, please complete separate orders.
Q . Can orders be shipped to an APO/FPO address?
Yes, these orders will be shipped via US Postal Service and consequently may take longer to arrive to their destination.
Q. Can orders be shipped to international addresses?
Yes, M.LaHart & Co. proudly ships anywhere in the world. For security reasons, we may require verbal confirmation of online orders and reserve the right to cancel international orders. Our standard shipping charge for international orders is $35, and it may be adjusted depending upon items ordered and destination. International orders are shipped via insured U.S. Postal Service. We do not ship glassware, clocks, lamps or chairs to international addresses. Please note that duties or customs charges from local governments are the responsibility of the recipient. Returns

Q. What if I want to exchange or return items?
We will do everything we can to ensure your complete satisfaction with your M.LaHart & Co. purchase. However, if you are not satisfied we will gladly exchange or refund purchases made through our website, by mail order, or by phone within 90 days of purchase. If you send your purchase back for a refund, we will credit the same credit card used to place the order. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on engraved or custom items. Shipping costs are not refundable.
