Excellent Customer Srvice

"I order the etched Clemson Slate Server for a gift upon graduation. When it arrived I joyfully opened the box in which it wss shipped to inspect and then wrap as my gift. The etched school name had a line through the top 1/3 of the name. I was immediately disappointed and carefully looked at yhe slate and saw that was the only horizontal line on the slste. Knowing slste is a natural product I considered if the manufacturer would agree this was a flaw. I showed my husband who agreed I should contact M. laHart & Co. Rather than the manufacturer. When I called customer service for M. LaHart & Co. the representative, Mary, was attentive in listening to my concern. She gave me her email so that I could send a photo of the flawed etched name.Mary acknowledged receipt of my email with attached photo and said she would be back in touch. A few hours later, the same day, Mary emailed me that the manufacturer agreed the item was flawed and would replace it at no inconvenience or cost to me. I received the replacement slate with a clearly etched name about 10 days later. I wrapped the gift in its original sturdy, clean and protected box and gave it to the recipient who was outwardly pleased and appreciative. I am thankful M. LaHart & Co. resolved the issue with kindness and professionalism. This was the third time I've purchased a graduation gift from M. LaHart & Co. and had been pleased the first two orders and now the third order as resolved with my complete satisfaction."
